Hi!

MAP MAKING STOPPED:reason:its stopid to make non-playable map!

The map is a house at beach, and its going to be full of details and "actions"

This map is "not playable", there are no enemies or weapons, it's kind of practice for further maps. But why im posting it if it's practice? My achiement is make the map really good, millions of details and so on. So i want a lot of comments from the map. If people liked it, ill start making "real" map.

The map is going to contain 4 maps. summer,summer night, winter and winter night.

The map making has started, and im posting as much pic's as possible(and info).

Let's see what comes out of this!

prosent indicator:

Summer:4% night:0% / winter:0% night:0%

Update log///small update log for this map

-adding screenshots in max. 2 days, please wait until then.

-added estimation for release date and added "prosent indicator"

-added update log, started make the map

-thread opened

the best thing you could do if you wanted comments is to make i playable. People don't usually like to comment off screen shots, and even if they did you have none. Im not too sure on what you want us to coment on because there is nothing.

People actually like to comment of screenshots. At least I do. <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif"> It's a bit disappointing to see a new map thread without any screens. For the first round of feedback they're almost more important than the actual map-file.

Also get prepared for a lot of tips and criticism as this is what the maps forum is really for (look at other threads to see what I mean). If this is the first or one of the first maps you've build you'll find out that there's a lot to consider you didn't even think of yet.

Good luck with this, but show us some nice screenshots ASAP or you won't get many comments <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_wink.gif">

get a playable version uploaded and i will check it out as soon as i get back home man

Hey hey hey!

First for the screenshots, look progress bar and think why there arent any!

And the "not playable" means you cant complete/fight in it, you can just "wiew" it (in-game of course). And i want comment from it when ready!

If people thinked it were fine>Start making a new "real" map

If people thinked it sucked>back to basics!

there's more to mapping than just visual mate, though it's very important, bad gameplay can ruin a great map
you might just create it playable and think about gameplay elements along with making it look good
