dod_drizz, so called because of the light rain, AKA drizzle, that's in the map. This was made over the past week or so, and was done as no more than a mess-about with displacements, models and fog.

I reckon it could take up to 8 a side without getting too crowded, but it still needs spawn protection and a bit of tweaking before being ready for any public play.

I don't have any clear goals for this map, so between here and the dod forums, any feedback will probably determine the final outcome.

The screenshots give me the idea of some place in northen france in the autnum.
Which is pretty nice, some recky outcrops seem a bit out of place but it looks like if i'd walk around in this map it wouldn't just be like walking around in a random map at some 'place' that's non existent, which fits well with dod since it's based on real events.
I'll take a better look when i head home but from what I've just glanced at it looks pretty nice, hope the gameplay doesn't let the map down. image
I'll edit this post when i get home then image

*edit*

No further comments really, looking good <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif"> I'm sure you'll make this into a nice map if you get some fellow pitters to test play it alot with ya <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif"> These kind of dod projects almost make me want to buy a copy of dod source.

For objectives, you could maybe make some kind of farmish type structure or a bunker hidden in the hilly terrain for one side to defend, and another side to conquer.

Maybe a bunker complex below grounds with several entrance points, that would also provide some cool indoor action and for the defending team a problem of what entrance to ehavily defend and what sides to leave weak and open for enemy attacks.
