Well for all of you who actually liked/played my map, Tau_Map, then you`ll be happy to know #2 is on the way. Im posting this because i`d like some ideas for obstecles. Anyone got anything? [addsig]

Well, all I'd say is make it unique and exotic. You should make original jumps, not just the basic high/long jumps with the little turns. Maybe have a backround story, like you have to escape from Black Mesa with the experimental Gauss Cannon (Tau).

One thing that is very hard to do with the Tau Cannon is moderate hight, so maybe you should have to jump to a ledge without going too high and hitting a fan/laser/electric arc (anything that will gib you instantly). other than that, I dono. [addsig]

Yeah but if you played Tau_map you`d notice that the last jump, which is jump 9, has a electric ceiling thats low, and rotating gears-so you have to tau at the right time perfectly. Play the map to see what I mean. [addsig]

I rarely play DM but is it possible to Tau jump backwards and forwards, going up a set of ledges alternating between left and right?  Like this:

Btw the ledges teleport you to bottom if you hit them.

TAU, as in 40K TAU? That would be some cool mapping.. I have a ton of TAU 40K things you can use to get ideas from.. old White Dwarfs.. and the TAU codex..
