I was wondering if anyone could list a few of the xen skies (as in what I put in the cl_skyname line of map properties) for me. I have tried a couple sites that people have recomended but they either have a broken link, no useful information or it tells me I have to be a member of that site to veiw that page. If I need to be more clear please tell me so. Thanks for any help!

The only thing I can think of is to check out FBSBanana and look for skys for any game in the GoldSource engine (such as Counter-Strike).

You can also open the gcf with gcfscape and go to valve/gfx/env (it might be different).
Here you'll find all the skies, including the xen ones.
Remember to remove the fr and bk etc. in the textbox where you need to write that skybox name.
Offtopic: The Snarkpit works great on the PSP, i wrote this all with my PSP

@Aaron
Where do I look? I tried searching but didn't get what I was looking for, could you give me a link to a page with the list on it(for HL1) of the different skies?
@Niborius
I hate to sound like I don't know anything about computers(which isn't too far from the truth) but I don't know what you're talking about. Whats gfcscape for one thing, and where do I find it/get it?
I would apoligize for my ignorance, but then people would get the idea that I'm so modest all the time(which I'm not) but anyway thanks for the help.

-It's a program that lets you open up the .GCF files that Valve packs most of its games into (including Half-Life). basically it's a convenient way for Valve to manage all of their content without letting users accidentally delete their own files and screw-up their own game. -You will find all the files for Half-Life if you look in the right GCF file.
The GCF files are located in your 'steamapps' folder. You should be able to get to it by going to: C:>program files>steam>steamapps>Half-Life.gcf -If it's not in that .gcf folder, check your other half-life related gcf files.
Note: you cannot delete files or move them within the gcf, you can only right-click>extract them. Select the ones you want to extract and you'll have a copy of those files you can edit wherever you place them at.

Yeah, FBSBanana is a pretty "busy" site and can be pretty confusing and illogical at times. The Counter-Strike games are really popular so you should browse through this list. Unfortunately, not all are sky textures since you can't actually view sky textures only.
Also check out this list. If you see any you like download them but some of the sky textures in that list aren't for the Goldsource Engine so you might have to convert em.

The alien#, neb#, and xen# are Xen skies.
You can see them yourself if
A) You have the Steam version of HL. Do what Riven described above.
B) You have the original version of HL. You have to download pakscape or another .pak explorer, then open (I assume, it has been a while) valve.pak and go to gfx\env\
