Hi all , i have begin a pack improvement for Hammer 3.4, for Half-Life deathmatch and solo mapping. It's for accelerate the workflow under Hammer 3.5, see the list change below:

- New fgd to support the new change.
- added Hammer 3.5
- added some sprites of the half-life 2's hammer editor, visible in the 3D view. (see the screenshot below)
- added new sprite ambient_generic.spr
- added and modified the static 3d model player for info_player_start, info_player_deathmatch and info_playercoop with arrow direction.
- added all weapons,ammos and items 3D models from the Half-Life SDK 2.3
- added some 3d models mdl for some entity, visible in the 3D view.(see the list below)
- added the missing tripmine ammo 3D model (w_tripmine.mdl) taked in the v_tripmine.mdl object from the sdk 2.3.

These 3D models replace some entities:

Hammer pack improvement

Maybe i made some tweaks in Hammer 3.5 on some menus in the interface.

And last thing , i have made a new Help file in chm format, i have upgrade the help
for hammer 3.5, insert the tutorial mapping of the help file of the worldcraft 2.1
with his rmf/bsp files in correct version, added the env_beam.rmf/bsp from the SDK in correct version. Some new pages and new screenshots, its the merge of the help file of hammer 3.4 and 2.1. I will try to make a setup installation without need to install hammer 3.4 in first, all in one package.

I'm near to finalize the pack.

Wow, that's pretty impressive! -Would almost convince me to go back for mapping in the goldsource engine smiley

Well done, and I like the new sprites. I'll definitally use it when I will be mapping for Half-Life again!

The pack will be available this week-end, i must create a mapping section in my homepage.

It's cool if people can feedback about this pack to fix possible bug if someone find it.

I have finish the pack, the new name is Valve Hammer Editor 3.5.1

- Minor tweaks in the interface of Hammer.
- New help file in chm with bsp/rmf examples.

Open the Readme_pack.txt to see the change.

You said you have a website to go along with this tool? -If you link me, I'll be sure to add this as a front-page post. A website would add validity to it. I may not be using it, but I'm sure it could come in handy for a lot of other folks.
