I have some custom mp3 sound clips I would like to use in my TFC map but am unable to get them to work in the actual map.
I have converted them to .wav but am unsure if the settings are correct. Also if you suggest a program to convert these files to .wav with the required format, that would be great.
Thanks in advanced!

You know whats odd, I had a tutorial right on this site just for this but, in my absence it was deemed unnecessary and was removed for some reason. No one ever gave me a real reason why.
My advice, look at a default sound and copy it exactly. Its simply been to long to give a more helpful answer.
You need the correct path, the correct bit rate and the correct entity to make sound work.

Yeah, what Orpheus said.
As for the converter, I would use Audacity. It isn't really a converter, but you can open almost any audio file, then change the bit rate etc.
Then you can export it as a .Wav file.
It's entirely free!

FFMPEG END OF THREAD.
(You can use a front end like WinFF to help out, but it's really best used as a command line tool. Sorry, but it's the best out there. Just look up the commands and you should be fine.)

Blame it on Microsoft, God does.
