Hello. I've been looking for an expert Half Life FGD for awhile now.

I want to use it mainly so that I can actually see the models in the 3D view instead of those colored blocks. Witch is especially annoying only seeing said blocks when I'm trying to work with sprites.

I cannot find this FGD anywere. Can I have a link to download it if anyone has it? It would be much appreciated.

I am not sure, but I believe this FGD will show you the models in the 3D view as well.

No problem, I don't mind waiting awhile. smiley

It seems the FGD you gave me doesn't work. The entities are still colored blocks rather than models. There must be something I'm missing, because I've had several other people tell me to try tons of different FGDs but to no avail.

Is there a specific version of Hammer I should use?

We have fgd's here. Look in the downloads.

just having the fgd isn't enough. Do you have Hammer 3.5?
