| If your friends can load the map, as well as yourself, I think you can assume that the problem lies with the server or with the Sven Coop code. It would be really helpful if Steam would display the debug information like in the WON version, instead of a progress bar that displays little-to-no debug information. Oh well. |

i think what you need to clarify is this comment.
do they hang, as in the PC locks up during startup near the end, or does the map load completely and they are frozen in place like the old ping freezes i used to have on 56k?
that is the distinction that may solve your problem.

Most people just say it freezes; I'll check with my normal testers to see if it does anything after 5 minutes. (I used "hang there" for lack of a better synonym)
G.Ballblue tried the map, and told me it froze for him also.
