Can anyone tell me how to create a splash screen (I think that is what it is called the screen background in the main menu)?

Is that what it is called? Any way I'm very new to this so let me go this route. I click on the Half-Life icon the game loads and I am presented with a menu, find servers, create server, etc, etc. On that screen with the menu there is a background a wallpaper if you can call it that,(A picture of Gordon for example) that is what I want to make. I hope you can understand what I mean Like I said I am very new to this.

I think he means when you start up hl, you see gordon in the background... do you mean that? [addsig]

if you only want to change the backgroung pic as hl loads, then this is exactly what you're looking for.

it's very easy to use. the readme only says tfc, but it worked in all the mods i tried it with. just make the resource/background folder in whatever mod you want to have a new splash screen, and put the pics there.
