hey, is it possible to make ropes in Half-Life, liek you have in opposing force in bootcamp, to switng from rope to rope.

i've never seen it in HL and i think it would be funney to put in my map

is it possible??

Aye, Orph is correctimundo. You could have a rope that you could climb, but it wouldn't swing, and vice versa. [addsig]

its a tutorial about making a cable for elevators using beams. You could use this idea and put a func_ladder around it instead.

great, thanks for the replys , i'll try to do that elevator cable thing, if that doesn't work , the ropes will be ladders (making a cliff to climb up and down)

Ropes were entities in OP4. I remember someone else asking this same question a few months ago.
