I think <em> is "emphasis", and it just makes stuff italicized; according to that board of idiots (W3C), you should use <em> instead of <i> in certain situations. I forget why. [addsig]

It's point is... to help blind people surf the web? (So people know when there's meant to be an emphasis on something) Being in the UK, I am actually legally obliged to make this website easy to navigate by blind people- or else I can be prosecuted- which is odd, given the illegal porn, spam, etc. which are 'doing the rounds' these days. Bwahahahaha, me as a criminal mastermind, dedicating my efforts towards making life harder for blind people, surely that <em> stripping code I wrote will confuddle them!

i hate to point this out, but being able to see or not, never stopped sexual encounters, so IMO using porn as a definitive against such an action as "suitable to the blind"

lol reminds me of the idea we had to make a giant woman using the terrain editor in UnrealEd.
