Half-Dude, you may find that fixing one apparently unrelated error also fixes the other. It sounds daft, but try fixing the ones that you know how to fix, and maybe the other ones will disappear It's worked in my experience before.

My the origin brushes are tied to non-entity brushes and are grouped together to make func_rotating and func_rot_door entitiys

Plus the bsp is in the directory that the compiler says it is'nt in

seems to me, either they are part of the entity or not.........origins are included in the func_rotating etc, correct me if im wrong please....

....and all it takes is one wrong letter to misdirect yer compiler

Grouping things together in VHE doesn't do a thing for compiling - The origin brush needs to be IN the entity along with a non-origin brush.

in hammer, make sure all the brushes to be in the entity are highlighted together at the same time. then hit the 'to entity' button. it will ask you if you want to add this to the existing entity(whatever the origin brush is) hit the 'yes' button.

the whole group will now be the entity you wanted.

All brushes are CLIP or ORIGIN (at least one must be normal/visible)

I'm going to assume that this isn't true, or you wouldn't be posting. all your brushes aren't textured with green and grey faces are they?

another option:

have you hidden most of your map, and have "compile with visable objects only" checked?

I have to concur with Lord Zoner here - this is pretty self-explanatory. You see, this is one reason that Zoner's tools are A Very Good Thing - they tell you stuff like this.

Now to fix it, you just need to find entity number 53 and either delete it or give a "normal" texture to some of its parts. There is a very handy option in Hammer to find an entity or brush by its number; enter "entity 53 / brush 0".

Contrary to TB's suggestion, this error does not refer to the whole map (else there would be leaks everywhere too)! It only refers to this entity.

Its ok I fixed the problem. As it turned out, one of my triggers had the origen texture [addsig]
