Go into hammer and where the line cuts (or goes outside your map) fix the leak. It sometimes impossible to tell how and where it is though.

Load the pointfile in-game. it is almost useless in hammer. check out this thread: http://www.snarkpit.com/forums.php?forum=3&topic=672&18 [addsig]

If when you load up Half Life with pointfile and it freezes, thats because your leak is smaller than 1 unit. [addsig]

I learned that from Dark Complex, my cliffs were so porlly made that I ended up with lots of little holes 1 unit in size and smaller, thats why the map kept freezing when it loaded pointfile. [addsig]

I've seen it before, fixed it somehow. I'm used to figuring out pointfile in Hammer now, it actually works really well (just the 2D part is useless) In the 3D view it's exactly what you'd see in-game but with the added bonus of a "Heat Tracer" meaning that the colder or further away from the leak a pointfile is it's a purple/blue and very very close to where the leak is it's bright red. Takes a little while to learn, but is easy when completed.
