This begs to be mapped.. I am not quite up to the task yet.. but I have saved the pictures for reference later, should I get enough skill to perform such a task.

Any of you up for it?

With the new displacement brushes in Source, there is areas not too far removed from that in sections of dustbowl. Also, fishy has done some great cavern work and the author of Mudanchee (Captain P?) You should give it a go, it would be a great way to learn displacements.

BTW I'm moving this to General Chat as it's not strictly a question! (Originally appeared in HL Editing forum)

ALthough I can't find the move topic smiley laaarrrccchyyyy!

Thanks Aaron.. I may give it a try as a side project as GWIL said to get better at displacements.

GWIL can you link the maps you named in your post, I want to take a look, and I dont see a search function for the site.
