I switched to Vista, loaded up Hammer, and everything appears to be correct (options, wads, compiles, etc), except for one thing in the 3d view window.
I can't seem to click an object and have it selected. When I click in the 3d view, nothing happens. This makes object selection and placement difficult. I CAN select and place objects in the 2d views, but this can be inefficient.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Dickon...

Looks like hammer isn't made for Vista. The best thing to do is to go back to XP.
Why doese something tells me that you can put 2 or more windows on one computer?I'm not sayng that this is possible!

Ah, I think I remember reading about this before, there may be some work around, just look around a bit.

It's making it *very* hard to apply textures. I can easily apply textures to the whole object, but if I want a specific face (like on a light), I cannot select that face.
Does anyone have any tips? I've tried searching around.
Thanks,
Dickon...
