here's some more tree models for anyone that can make use of them. KFS asked my if i could make some low poly trees for a hlrally map he was working on, 'cause he was pushed for time, and i kept posting pics of trees.

i guess he was more pushed for time than he would have liked, and some projects didn't get finished.

anyways, you can get the original hlrally scale trees here,

or the scaled up versions here

there's various sizes of single trees, and some models of the different sized trees in groups. (like in the pic) i thought grouping trees into one model might be a good way to help keep the model count down, especially where lots of them are wanted.

they could be usefull to someone, but as i'm not planning any sort of snow themed maps, then that someone wont be me.

as with the last trees i posted, they probably need to be used in a steam game.

364 poly for 4 trees = win. Good job with that. The trunk texture looks a little odd (kinda looks like a metal pipe!), but the branch texturing looks top notch. [addsig]

I agree with it looking like a metal pipe. I don't see any blue... does that mean these ones work in normal no-new-DLLs Half-Life?

sorry jeff, but no. the reason you don't see the blue is that the pic was made using jeds hl model viewer.

As for a question: Which versions of HL support these blue-ish models ?

"Hear,hear"

seems "Master Fishy", is not to much of a stretch, for title designation

found your niche rather late, but you are catching up to the pack anyways.

The models with masked (blue) textures work in steam, and in normal HL if you copy the hw.dll and sw.dll from steam into the appropriate folder in your normal-HL install.

Or from DoD v1.0 or greater so you don't necessarily need Steam. [addsig]

I could definately use them so if you fix the trunk to look better I'll use them in my contest map.
