I think you should be able to download a free trial from somewhere, probably their homepage. And there are other free alternatives, even though I don't know their names (gimp?).

You can download a Photoshop tryout from here, 151.6MB in size:

You have to register and create an ID though.

Like you say half-dude, some of the free trial programs are hard to learn. And by the time you can use it, your 30 days are usually done.

A lot of people say that Gimp is almost as good as photoshop, and has the added attraction of being free. You can download a windows version at http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/

There's links to tut's there too.

If you download the trial of Photoshop, or borrow it from a friend or "get" it someother way (smiley) then you can find some tutorials and links to other tutorials and resources here:

or just google for Photoshop tutorials or something and you'll probably find a bunch of more or less good sites

i had a working version of PS, i un-installed it in favor of PSP8.. i am sure PS may be better, but it was much more than i needed, and i had no inclination to learn its nuances to make it more valuable to me.

PSP8 looks so much like PS, why bother for more??

I got Jasc's PSP 8 in the Power Suite Edition last March for my birthday. I haven't used it yet expect for about a few hours. Once HL2 comes out however I will be burnig a hole through the CD.

If you didn't get that because your stupid, it was a metaphor.

Hey all, Im starting a IZ poster type thing. It's not done this is just what I got. On GIR's side will be the Irken characters, and on Dib's side will be the humen characters.
