The way the eyes are done, and the way the armour fades into black both look excellent. This is a hundred times better than anything I could create, so my criticisms don't hold much weight.

This was acctully my first picture ever with photoshop
but thanx for the nice feedback.
Oh and I totally agree with you on all your points, but as I said this was the first, and I would like to keep it like it was, so I can look back at it ![]()

Thx Reno. Actually my friend said the fire looks like vanilla or something... but hey, fire is so damn hard to make convincing! Both Pepper and Grimloch made a very good job though, especially Grimlock ![]()

Actually, by the amount of fire that's there and the length of the dragons jaws, it wouldn't illuminate the face very much, if at all. [addsig]

I just want to note some human proportions here instead of starting a new thread. I've done some reading and measuring myself and these are proportions anybody can use when drawing humans or anthro.
1) Body is about 7 heads high from the bottom of the feet to the top of the shoulders.
2) Waiste is slightly less wide than shoulders
3) arms are shorter than legs
4) when standing up finger tips reach down past the waiste and about half way to the knees
5) hands are shorter than feet
6) the upper part of the arm is the same length as the lower part of the arm.
7) the upper part of the leg is the same length as the lower part of the leg.
P.S. If you see any proportional errors in these notes let me know.

Yeah, those are superhero proportions, a normal person is only about 5 heads tall.
Face:
The face has an eye line half way between top and bottom. Nose line is half way between the eye line and bottom.
Mouth line is half way between nose line and bottom.
Hair line is a little above half way between top and eye line.
The face is vertically cut in five equal pieces.
Two "chunks" are the eyes (figure out which ones).
The middle of the eye (iris) lines up with the outer corners of the mouth.
The inner edge of the eyes line up with the outer nostrils of the nose.
The top of the ears are at the same height as the eye brows (Or slightly above, some people look funny, now you know why).
Hands:
Wrists lay slightly below waste line.
The size of a hand is about the same size as the face (Fingers and all).
There are THREE muscle areas in the hand (Not including fingers).
Other Crap:
The width of shoulders is about 1-1.5 head on each side (Man). 3/4s-1 head on each side (Woman).
Just to name some more. [addsig]

Right, I couldn't remember which it was. I think it's closer to 1.5 for men and 1 for women. Because, seriously, 2 head width on EACH side. That's huge. It's about one now that I think about it. (It's been a very long time since I had art
)
I'll edit it. [addsig]

Think about what you just said. If a woman's shoulders were the width of one head then she'd look like a snake.
Edit: I found this picture on the web showing the human figure being 7 heads high as I stated before. This looks like the proper heighth for a human but at the same time so does 5 heads high. It's driving me crazy.
