like Gwil said... ...bic pens are okay for sketches.

However, I recommend you invest in something a little more professional if you desire to create fine art.

The best thing about BIC's is that you can find them for free in little baskets at banks and such.

I thought this whole conversation was about inking a finished drawing, (after sketching out in pencil not doing sketches. Biros are fine for doodling.

Fountain pens are the way to go. Great little things

Edit, Ive also never had an Pentel RSVP go dry or not write on me BUT they are too thick for my tastes , I use em for notes = P (this was off topic which is why it was an edit = P

I use uniball's for whatever inking I do. I really only use them for letter outlines when I sketch, I don't professionally ink. But some comic artists swear by them for inking.

And no one uses a Bic pen professionally, man, sorry. Except for accountants and secretaries and whatever.
