Misfortuned Eden

I have never considered myself good with computer graphics, but sometimes I manage to surprise myself a little. Feel free to comment on my small creation. All sorts of feedback is welcome.

That is very nice. I love the sword and the detail you put into the handle. The background seems to bland though. Maybe you could make the stars a little more interesting. At first I didnt' even realize it was in space. Also maybe you could make the orb a little translucent so that we can see the sword going through it. Other than that the thing looks awesome. What modeling program did you use? [addsig]

I used OpenFX and for post processing I used Adobe Photoshop Elements and The GIMP. The "orb" is actually a planet, but the surface is not so obviously visible. I might get back to it once I get some free time again... [addsig]

Did you draw the sword or get it from somewhere? [addsig]

Actually I "modelled" it. The model and all the surface pictures are done by me. Only the "fireball" is computer generated. [addsig]
