Now after reading the great tutorial by fishy on exporting models into HL2 using milkshape i was ready to take the plunge into making my own stuff. Unfotunately, when i create my model and add a "joint" (havent got a clue as to were or how many there should be) i have assigned the various vertices to this particular joint (i only have 1 joint) Now, when i export my model it compiles ok but when i come to use it in hammer the mdl file is present but no jpg. when i insert the model it just doesnt show at all
the mdl file is
there but no model in the world view just a small xyz ref.any help on this matter would make me love you and become your very own internet stalker for life.
