Are you f**king kidding me? Sparth is an amazing artist - take it from somebody who IS average, and has spent alot of time trying not to be. Sparth has a loose style - don't mistake that for sloppiness.
But...if you want to see my alltime favorite, check Craig Mullins out.

by Average, I mean his style. His style is nowhere near unique. I even listen artsts that are very simliar to him.
Unclean isn't a bad thing, nothing like sloppy (which I didn't say). [addsig]

heh, I get defensive when it comes to my favorite artists.
Yes, the rough low-detail style is done by many people. It's almost some digital impressionist movement that grows from tools themself. Digital is great for high-detail, high-res; but it's just as great for quick speedpainting, capturing the bare essence of a scene - quick studies in color, contrast, composition, value. Anyone seriously building there skills in digital (or classical), should be working with these type of rough studies.
That said, Sparth has taken this common approach and created a body of work that is representative of his own imaginitie style. I could probably look at a wall of pictures, and identify a 'sparth' image. In this sense, I think he has succeeded in capturing a unique stlye. Of course, if its not appealing to you, that's another story.

I dont have any feelings for this artist, his art is nice but dosn't stun me or really impress me much more than other people. I'm a hard man to impress tho.

Christ I hate frames...especially when they block pictures from being viewed full.
goodbrush.com = good pics, bad site.

A bit more structure wouldn't have killed Picaso either.

1. can draw real people correctly
and
2. has a process for where he ends up, it's not just random placement of body parts
There really is a creative process that occurs in his work, so now I can actually appreciate his art more. [addsig]
