The strength of the turbulence is directly proportional to the temperature of your coffee.

It holds not significance to me other than my wife likes it. She is agnostic too so its not that but her grandmother gave it to her as a child. Her grandmother was religious. note the chain attachment at the top. it was worn as a necklace long ago.
She keeps it as a memento.. I only posted it to show others I had the shell I claimed to have is all. " SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

Didn't that place get blown to smithereens in one of the recent civil wars?
I thought it did, although I have a suspicion it was rebuilt too...

This should be in the General Banter forum, not art, soz Orph ![]()
Non of the pictures here are artistic- they are merely photos to show the place rather than to represent in some way some art form.

Thanx Duncan.
I do however like that last shot Lep posted.. I think it would make a great "No Mans Land" map for HL2. Wouldn't you agree?

In a school zone perhaps. " SRC="images/smiles/heee.gif">
This shot was taken 1/2 way across New Mexico.. The speed limit is 75 MPH..
I was not driving at the time I took this shot. You can see the slight angle as I was in the passenger seat with the camera.

Apparently if you are the author of a thread, you may open it beyond the 4 month limitations imposed on self locking feature of Snarkpit.
Which is good for me since I have some new pictures to post. These images, although large are optimized as well as possible but retain their original dimensions taken from the camera.
If you like them I can grant you the originals, which are twice as large a files but I would consider it given that this is a photography thread.
If you want the originals, send me a PM.
Consider this when you look, 56k took me ages. I still thought them worth it.
The images are just before daybreak. Although it looks like the sun has risen actual daybreak is still some 10 minutes off yet. It is also 5* above zero outside and this is a shot taken from Fargo,North Dakota.
BTW for those keeping track, I retired my Saturn recently. The odometer is 378,000+ now and still running fine.
