yup, nice pic.

Just came back from Corsica in the Mediterranean sea, and thought i'd share a few pics.

statue in Calvi

Calvi

the western part of the island is all about mountains next to the sea.

Corte

jumping off a waterfall (you can just see my legs)

part of the group in an atmospheric little town called Porto

It's a nice island if you like beatiful nature, diving, canyoning etc, but don't go there if you want to party.

BlisTer, really nice locations, and nice days for pictures too. This may be the nerd in me, but when I saw the picture of Calvi, I thought of T's spawning halfway up the ramp, so they can choose to go left on the aboveground route, or right into the tunnel system :P

Also, you know how to travel. Ie. you bring lots of girls with you.

I like the first one, but the way the guy is sitting in the second one strikes me as strange. It could be that I just don't feel it "fits" with the rest of the image.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that the first image looks natural while the second looks contrived.

That is because you are right. The first one he was stretching and i shifted my compoisition and took a picture. The second one wasplaced by me, which as you can see I am not too good at posing people.2>

Sad. I haven't been able to look at this thread in months.

I am so glad the wife buys disposable razors now. Those old double edge types wouldn't be safe around here.

The last one is cool - the transition between desert, plains and then mountains works really well.

The picture of the river is my favorite of this batch of pics.

I have two really great pics of a Bald Eagles nest. Sadly, the eagle that I saw land in it, is barely discernible, so I opted to not post it.

I also took some good shots in the Rockies. They are from above an old choo-choo train track... Yes its a choo-choo... Its used for tours in the gold mining region of I-70

This last batch is particularly nice. I like how I can get a feel for the vastness and beauty of both states.

I took these pictures on my last run to Colorado. They had a pretty nasty snowstorm.. Most heard it on the news last week. Shut Denver down. Anywho, these are some pics of Winter Park Colorado (50 miles west of Denver on I-70) at or about 11,000 feet.

As usual, I have the originals @ 2580x1932 and 1.1 megs. (3.2 megapixel) available on request.
