I just now caught glimpses of the Call of Duty 2 screenshots. I was blown away. It slightly inspired me to make some wallpapers, I just finished one for COD2, it's alright, pretty simple, I've lost my composting skills.
Check it out here: [1024 x 768] | [1280 x 768]
I didn't show them directly in the thread, since they're large.
Post what you've got, and all comments are welcome. I'd suggest making two links, in case anyone wants your wallpaper, one 1024 x 768 and another for wide-screen users: 1280 x 768. I suggest those sizes, since the picture can be shrunk or blown up and still look good, it's a pretty good intermediate size.

ohhh I'll edit and add something later.
I like what you did, clean and simple though I dont like the flame on the left and the inverted flame on the right. Also the soviet thing in the top right looks kinda odd.

Look harder, it's a flag, actually all the symbols on there are flags.
Messed with it more ... is that good or bad? I don't know.

I really like the way the hammer and sickle look. It's small and blends in well with the sky.
The stars however seem to be too rigid and straight and they call too much attention to themselves. The most interesting part of the image are the soldiers... at least in my mind. Maybe you could fade out the stars along sides so there's a smoother transition, and perhaps you could make them appear to be on a flag thats waving in the wind... I dunno if you can do that in PS.
Basically, I'm wondering how it would look if the stars were less horizontal and less in your face. Maybe a bit smaller too to match the dimensions of the soviet flag.
