Bleah.

I can't get paint to look right, I'll be needing to speak to some fellows about the problem.

Well, I'm totally wiped, so with my last efforts I threw together almost the rest of the bumper. There's still a little bit of crap at the bottom, but for the most part the front end is finally starting to come together. Next I'm going to do the doors, finish up the basic body, and then add headlights, grill, wheels etc.

Bleah, I'm going to bed.

Humph, that first link would be useful, but unfortunately I don't have brazil renderer. I'm using default scanline right now, probably use mental or vray when I want to make it look good.

Try messing a bit with the specular and gloss in the materials window.

I'd just apply a solid colour then use specular effects etc like pepper said.

I played arounda bit with the paint, but I think I'm just going to do clay renders until I get most of the modeling done. It is, after all, more important <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

Little bit of work, I've been out of the house a lot lately.

Indeed. Since I'm sort of winging this whole project, it's taking an incredibly painfully long time. I know guys who can model most of the body ina day. Makes me feel inadiquate <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/sad.gif">

Dude. Don't get bothered with people who are good, they're all 30+ years anyway. You got the time to learn, we are the winning generation.

Amen to that.

Maby its the lightning, or maby its the model itself but near the bumper on the side it looks dented.

It is actually. From all the reference pictures I have, I can't figure out how the bumper works below that (it's not a popular place to photograph) so I don't know what the hell happens down there. I decided to leave that place alone then, instead of spending a lot of time tinkering with it when I could do other stuff (doors). It will be addressed, hopefully soon, but I can't find any good ref. pics to show me what happens <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/sad.gif">

I've started modeling the back part. Nothing really worth showing, but it's more and more starting to look like a car <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

Take that bitch.

Anyways. Something weird happened to my headlights, don't know how, but they're very jagged. I rendered this before I noticed though and decided not to go and correct it.

Well, after a whole plethora of problems and annoyances, here's what I cam up with.

Yea, car modeling does get a bit tedious. Nice work none the less.
