That's good for a first model. I'm guessing blender, but correct me if I'm wrong.
My first model was a tutorial of a simple table, then I started playing with cups and stuff.
Then I jumped to a car a bit to soon methinks...
Now you should make a table, some chairs, try to create a scene by adding models that are more challenging each time.
That's what I would do...

Thanks french , i've been having trouble finding tutorials for
inanimate objects. i may just have to settle on using a 3dsmax tutorial
with blender O_O
