This isn't mine, I don't have enough patience for models, but this guy does:
[56k Warning]
He says it doesn't play well, but that's to be expected with such high-poly models. Still, the fact that Source can effectively render that, and that a free-lance mapper can make something like that is reassuring.
There is hope!
The download itself is 160Mb, sorry. This means it won't be able to be hosted on most servers, apparently the bz2 alone is 60mb.
Still, it looks nice.

Also change the texture of the dock. Docks are rarely tile. -Facepunch

The maker said himself that it runs like ass and the .BSP is 160MB in size.
" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif"> Looks beautiful though, but sad that it isn't playable.

So?
I saw this a while ago at Interlopers, looks pretty impressive and stylish (although from the screenies some of the brushwork looked quite square compared to all of the custom models). But besides being almost unplayable for already mentioned reasons, the layout didn't seem to be very interesting either. Still, a freaking cool portfolio piece.

Orph, alexroyce isn't the author of that map - some guy called warby
is. TBH I can't see how that would make much difference anyway, but it
does teach you to read more closely the original link.

LOL, perhaps, but at least you knew who the asshole was without any of my coaching.
Funny you telling me to read things closer. Your own history is hardly sterling. " SRC="images/smiles/icon_lol.gif">
