Ah, I see now. Well I learned something today; I didn't know about the ak74, nor could I recall an instance where I've used one in-game, but now I'll have to be more watchful of that. smiley Thanks.

I'm no authority on guns whatsoever, but I like what I see. It looks detailed enough for a world model, but as a view model for the screen, I imagine you'll be adding in some more details? -Like perhaps polygons for the ridges along the magazine, or the release button on the receiver part. Or protrusions along the foregrip piece. Either way, it's looking pretty good.

Well it's not even close to complete yet, i haven't even made the saftey lever :P

But yeah, will be adding details.

I think you mean the safety lever? Or actually what releases the magazine, I've already modeled that out :P

Hell no, HUGE waste of polygons and it'd be a pain in the ass to uv map.

Then again it just looks like 'another ak model' without the defined edges unique to the 74. :/
