OK! I know how to fix the brightness, Tools -> Options -> 2D View -> Grid Intensity but whenever I put my cursor on another 2D grid it goes SUPER BRIGHT! and its damn annoying!

its fairly large pixels so I will leave a link there.
anyway! I want to know if there is some sort of fix for this! I want it to keep the darker grid not the super bright cant even see where my brushes begin or end crap!
Please help if you can.

BRAKING NEWS! It still doesn't work! but in Source engine 2009, with CSS, It does not do the grid intensity change, So I have narrowed it down to being a problem with HL2:Epi2, not my video drivers.
