um, i have this problem with many of my textures - actually just my
outside walls and my light poles. they are nonsense colors. i thought
it would get fixed as i fixed all the other problems in my level, but
its not. the colors are just shifting. heres the screens:
this picture will show you the problem well.

for lots more pics:

(the bottom few nov 23..)
i have no idea whats going on. I do have leaks present, but my level is
being lit, and this problem occured when the level was flawlessly
sealed. take note of the light post too
http://id.yoll.net/projects/mis/mis0014.jpg
everything was normal long ago, and then it just changed. dunno what i
did. all the light posts do this. but they are just copy pastes of each
other. ideas?
and can you guys reply as a suggested answer? i see absolutely no option to make this a question

Maybe your light map is screwed up, try taking a look at it in the 3d (right click on camera and select light map) view to see if it is scaled up or too low, but Ive never seen something like this!

no, i will right now. I don't really understand what im looking for though.
**edit** I have no clue what i'm looking for. How do I know if they are off scale? All I see is a blue grid. Thats all it means to me too.

Well thats all you needed to look for to see if your light map was being generated, and it sounds like it is. Try ALT-P to look for problems. Or try changing the light values around to see if that does anything.

uhm... maybe you shouldn't take me for serious...
but i think you should stop mapping right now, all those screenshots look to me like there has been a huge waste of time... what are you doing there?
