First of all I cannot seem to find the HL2 textures even after the update, how do I get those working? Second, when I try to enter the right options in the command line of vtex.exe I get the VProject error. Also, if I just try to drop in my .tga I just get the blank .txt in the correct folder. Thanks to anyone who can help with this.

I just created a "new mod" and the Steam fixed all my settings. Also I added the Half-life2.fgd file.
And everything I needed was there

I extracted the textures a week or two ago when I was using the
'temporary' setup (Full SDK wasn't out yet). Try extracting the
materials folder, and maybe have a friend send you their vtex.exe

How can I change vproject so that it works in the cstrike sample content folder, because that is what I have been using. Also I get hl2 textures when I am using the HL2 config, but how can I get HL2 textures in CSS and vice versa? I really need to get those custom textures working though. Thanks.
