Hey all

silly question

why is it when i load up a prefab or just something ive grouped up.. when i de-select the item and go back to select it, its no longer grouped? although hammer still says its grouped but it will only select individual parts of the group

have you got the ignore group button pressed?

I can't think of any reason other than ignore groups to be honest. It happens to me loads by accidentally pressing ctrl-w, which is easily done considering w moves the camera forwards and ctrl is used for countless purposes in hammer. All I can suggest is you make sure its not pressed even if you haven't actually pressed it yourself.
