I've never had the need until now to take a screenshot, but I don't know how to. And after I take my screenshot, where does it put it? Thanks in advance.

It places it in your base half-life 2 folder (or hl2 within that I can't remember which).
Also, the reason why you can't use just print screen and past into a photoprogram of some sort is because the models will not be copied. If you or anyone was wondering. [addsig]

hit the prt scr (print screen) and then open an image editor like paint and hit paste
[EDIT] beat me to it![]()

| One way to bind keys is in the console...but I think what he's suggesting is to just go into Options -> Keyboard, and the Screenshot option, which is in the second to last category called Miscellaneous. |
Options -> Keyboard? In Windows? Because its not there when I looked. Sorry that I don't know what you are talking about. Maybe you need to post some screens.![]()

holy crap man
load the game, go to options, click on keyboard, and scroll down to the screenshot key.
In fact, if you didn't change anything you just press F5 and it will take a screenshot ingame.

I dunno man, have you ever heard of the print screen button? Print screen and paste in a paint program.
Did you just start using a computer today?
EDIT: I would also like to note that this may be the first time I have ever used that smiley

I certainly hope you aren't going to attempt mapping or modmaking, because if you couldn't figure out what print screen does or how to use it...
