Ok I think its well known that the env_spark doesnt fully work for everyone, at least I have read people are having the same problem as I (doesnt make any sound and yes I have the silent flag unchecked). I figured I would just setup a logic timer, have the spark trigger off of that as well as a spark sound, but the timer doesnt seem to work properly though I am guessing I am not setting it up correctly. I have tried tweaking everything and when I compile the spark is constantly sparking as is the sound. I tried setting the length of the trigger etc and it doesnt seem to help any. Does anyone know if there is a way to get env_spark to work with sound since its not working the way it should by itself? I need a workaround and thought I had it figured out but I guess not
Thanks in advance.

Use an ENV_SOUND right next to it. and set the [pr]sound[/pr] to the appropriate sound file. Probably in the ambience folder.
