Has anyone else tried putting Alyx's pistol in his/her map? It does show up, but when Gordon picks it up, it just looks so wrong! It can still be fired, but it looks like a chunk of metal dangling in mid-air instead of a weapon.

Perhaps it's ilke that because it's never meant to be used by a male? It's a girly gun after all, but it's actually quite useful (it's got the firing rate of an assault rifle but with the accuracy of a pistol).

I'm so happy now because I am a Source mapper finally. Every drug addict should try mapping--it just might cure them of their addiction (Well, more like trading one addiction with the addiction to mapping. But at least it doesn't leave any needle marks on the body.)

Maybe because the weapon isn't meant to be used? It just doesn't have a First Person holding model thing, that's all. Do you know if you can get ammo for it though? Same with Grigori's gun, does that use shotgun ammo?

Grigori's uses shotgun ammo. It's actually quite fun to use, but the 1st person model looks like the other shotgun. Alyx's gets ammo when you impulse 101, but i am not sure WHAt kind it uses
