I just got sdk and want to make a singleplayer map for hl2. I placed a combine gunship in the sky and placed 2 path_track entities and set them up. But the gunship just sat there until it saw me, at which it would turn in place and shoot me. But it would never move. Same thing went for the striders, and a dropship which i made holding a crate. Anyone have any good tutorials on how to do anything with these? I'm not familiar with the new trigger system for hl2.

You need to mess with AI nodes. They're the same as making AI for HL1. (as are the triggers, they've just moved to a new area) [addsig]

yeah ive made some air nodes and the helicopter just sits there until it sees me, anyone know what i am doing wrong? trying to make it so it can move around freely.

u sure u typed in right 'target path track' in the dropship properties ? its either that or that it founds firt pathtrack but doesnt move to next path track , try out diffrent inputs like onpass changepathtrack and so on . good luck
