Hey everyone,

Im writing a mod that is essentially a modified deathmatch for HL2.
I remember with HL1 that you could create mods that would look for their map and model files in the standard HL folders as well as in the mod folders, effectively inheriting HLDM maps/models and then adding their own.

Is there any way with source mods to change the paths that the mod looks into for map and model data, to mimic this behaviour? I dont really want to force people to copy over their whole maps and models folders from HL2DM into my mod folders.
