"the configuration information for the game you're trying to edit is invalid or missing"

error message when I try and open Hammer for HL2:DM

I think it may have somthing to do with this not working for me Valve FAQ

To fix this problem, just click the "Reset Game Configurations" button on the Source SDK lancher.

i am having a bit of a problem accepting the 16 minute interval between post and blue answer here :/ [addsig]

I just had the same problem and thought I might add this:

If it still doesn't work after clicking the "Reset Game Configurations", run the game and then try again.
