out of memory loading solid error

I've had some problems last time I worked my map and those problems caused my hammer to crash and I had to reboot my pc.

Now when I rebooted and tried to load my map I received the following error:

Out of memory when loading solid

followed by:

File [filename] , line 10286: error 7

after this he just refuses to load my map.

can anyone help me here?

Look for the file called yourmap.vmx and try renaming it to yourmap.vmf and try opening that file in Hammer instead.

Should fix the problem.

i have never hear of this issue, and i feel it might be worthy of a blue answer..
