I have a drivable buggy in my map, but when I fired the mounted gun, I
only hear the sound effect of the gun firing but received no visual
feedback of the "energy beam". The objects that I shot at did not
appear to have suffered any damage either.
Is the buggy fully functional and the mounted gun firable in a deathmatch map?

That's a bummer. When I tested the map, I could drive it, but then I was the only player in the map.
Oh well. I guess we'll have to do without until someone figures out a way to re-code it.

I have noticed that the alt-fire of the tau will knock around physics crap and will blow up explosive barrels. I haven't had a chance to see it ingame against other players to see if they die from the alt-fire, so I dunno about that. However, I'd think the most effective use of the buggy would be to run over people, as that still works ![]()
