My origin point happens, quite by accident, to have ended up either inside a brush, or just below it, in total darkness. This makes the player choose CT/T sides while looking at darkness, instead of while looking at sceneray. A couple of questions due to this:

1) Can I move the entire map "down" the z axis somehow (I can't figure out how to do that)

OR

2) are there some kind of spawn cameras, or some such thing that make the user see from a particular point during game initiation?

I feel like I should know the answer....

there is an entity, and it just skipped my mind, but it is a camera that is what show when a player joins the server. Ill get back to you.

EDIT: point_viewcontrol

Its a point entity use for camera locations when players join the game. Make it target an info_target. [addsig]
