This is one of the most intriguing thing I've ever seen. I was
playtesting my single player map when I noticed some bullet hole and
blood decals on a wall that couldn't possibly have gotten fired on by
anything or anyone. No player or NPC could even possibly get to
that part of the wall, which is three levels above ground.
Nothing is even nearby.
I just cannot figure out how the decals got there. Any ideas?
It doesn't really affect the game in any way, but I just think it's a very strange problem.

I could, but the screenshots won't be too helpful. Because they
just look like your normal bullet hole decals and blood stains on the
wall.
There's nothing unusual about their appearance. It's their location that's the mystery. And by showing the screenshots, it's pretty meaningless. Because unless taken in the context of the gameplay, you wouldn't know that it's impossible to get those bullet holes at those places.

I remeber that you had some grunts ready to repell on your map, and
that if you went to the top floor and looked over the edge then you
could see these two combine guys just... hanging there. Maybe
their gun discharged.
or seriously it could be that decals are getting onto the back of a wall from the inside. like you shoot a bad guy, he dies, blood splats onto a wall, and shows up on the back face of that wall. Dont ask me why, but it could be that.

That's the best explanation. Because there's some action going on from the other side of the wall (the interior of a room). But why would the decal appear on the outside wall? Must be a bug from the rendering engine.
