Alright, I have a metal railing on top of a big platform so people don't fall off, but when they shoot in the space between the two metal bars of the texture, it just shoots the texture. How would I make it so they can shoot through the space between railings?

Well the only way I could think of is to create the railings yourself using brushes and then make it a func_detail.

if you look throught the models list you can find a railing model, or you can create one yourself, a metal railing texture, unfortunately, will work like that - unless you want to edit the texture so all of it can be shot throught

Thats kind of odd, I've been using the truss textures for decorations, and they can be shot through. That may be because I made them func_detail's though.

If you applied a transparent texture, the shots will pass trough it.
Use two brushes, however, to make thing easier.
BTW there is the PLAYER CLIP texture wich should block only players

Sp3ctre is right, if you were to texture the part in the middle with PLAYER CLIP, then you would be able to shoot through the space inbetween, and not the other parts. [addsig]
