I have an earthquake based map im making for a fortress-mod on the hl2 engine.. In this map I have a broken light that is dangling by its wire and sparking.. anyways, it just dangles, does not sway(unless I shoot it).. ive tried using both env_shake and env_wind.. I'd like it to constantly sway(very slightly)..

http://www.clanbj.com/aftershock/danglelight.jpg thats the light...

thanks for any help.

This may help you.

Search through your textures for "wind". Choose the wind texture and have it completely surround your affected area (looks like a cloud blowing wind). Press Ctrl-T and tie it to a env_wind and adjust the settings to your liking. This may not be exactly right as I haven't messed with the wind in months.

When I tied the env_wind texture to an env_wind entity, it just takes the shape of a normal box entity..

Try tying it to a func_wind. My apologies. [addsig]
