well this is my first map ever so i'm really sorry about having so many
questions. In the forums there was a similar question to this,
but not the same. I tried what that said to do and it didn't
work. At certain areas in my map I get an error that reads
"Internal Driver error in IDirect3DDevice9::Present()" then i
also get the error right after it "The Instruction at "0x2406db79"
referenced memory at "0x010711d4". The memory could not be
"read"" (I get this in random places while testing the map...and
I always get a LOT of lag right before it happens). After that
Deathmatch shuts down. what's going on?

When I got this error it was because I used either an invalid water texture or an invalid glass texture.
Try changing the glass/water textures if you have any.

i changed some of the glass because i read another forum and it didn't
work (and i don't have water) but last night it miraculously ran
flawlessly. so i'm gonna check it one more time and if the
problem's fixed then it must've been the glass. thanks
and woops...i didn't mean to reject your answer. if its working you were right. haha.

No problem, if it does turn out to fix the problem, I think you can reset the answers at the top and then make mine right.
