applying textures on one face

Hi ive tried many ways but i cant apply a texture on one face of a brush, when i try to select one face of the texture it selects the whole brush. I was wondering if anyone could help me on this problem thx much.

asked, answered...

use the "texture application tool.. its the box with only one side different.

i think, you need to right click, but whatever the button, that will do it.
