im using env_embers entity tied to a brysh to make the effect of snow but the snow keeps stopping and starting

ive tried changing the particle like to 1 sec but it has a noticble stop and start effect and if you put it to 0 it turns off completley

any ideas how to make it stay falling all the time without stopping?

Just use Env_precipitation (think thats right). Change property to snow rather than rain.

I believe you have to copy over a texture/sprite to make the rain or snow work in HL2DM or SP. It was only coded for CS:S. [addsig]

If you are trying to imply that I am a girl, I am NOT a girl. And secondly it says right under my name where I'm from. Phoenix, Arizona. And if you are wondering where Elisha is from (the girl for my avatar), she is from Canada.

I'm very proud to be Canadian

Isn't she only like 15 or something? Man only two years older than me, that gives me the right to oggle over her endlessly.

15!? Are you nuts?!

Try more like 22 years old.

Go to this site and you will get everything you need to know about her there.

I haven't, But from what I hear you need to make or import (from CS) the snow flake texture. About the speed, I dont know... I'll look it over.

Cover the entire area you want snow to fall in (ie the WHOLE of the outside, not just the top like you do with rain) and set it to "snowfall" - it's looks VERY pretty.

<--- bored @ work, trawling through the forum to find help/ideas for map. Thought my findings might help someone in the future, so I replied to a thread. Ok, so it was an 17-month old thread, but you never know... might help someone someday.
