The tutorial confused me to hell and gone does anyone have another way
to do it? It wasnt in lamest terms (according to me) I need to get a 3d
skybox in my level (Single Player) that I am working on. Thanks!

And just use that pre-made skybox. Or simply see how they did it using the "deductive" method (much better than reading 100 tutorials IMO).

Or you can take a look at the source of de_cbble, which comes with the
SDK. Basically, that sky_camera entity is the (0, 0, 0) point of the
skybox, so in-game that 3D skybox is scaled up 16 times and it's moved
so, that the sky_camera is at (0, 0, 0). A sort of landmark system like
used with level transitions, you could say.
