It sounds like you've stuffed too much into this map, though. Maybe splitting it up into two smaller levels would help (just to test that: compile a part of the level only with cordon compiling (you may want to backup the original map before doing so) and see if you still get this problem with the then smaller map)...

Thanks mate, i will have to have a fiddle, essentially at the end of the level the player is blown up into the air, this crash only seems to happen when the playter can see a lot of the level (if you no clip round the level the same thing happens) The problem essentially shuts down half life 2 whilst you are playing the game, i've attached a screenshot to show you how big the level actually is. it's shouldn't really crash as i have skyboxed it etc. Plus the whole boat is func detail " SRC="images/smiles/sad.gif"> I could really do with some help.
As you can see it's not really that much for one area, the ingame image doesn't show it but there are some helicopters lurking away from the ship. Any help would be great.

I know this answer seems a bit far-fetched, but just try it.

Thanks Alex, that's amazing it actually sorted it out, i can't believe it was all down to that single brush. It's working now and the level can end correctly wohoo. Thanks for the help guys, the HL2 world forum is terrible in comparison to here, perhaps people are a little more gorwn up " SRC="images/smiles/icon_wink.gif"> As for the others guys post, i believe it is an issue with the func_percipitation try making that bursh smaller, as suggested by Alex.
